OK Motorsports Livery MK. IV
Formula SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) is a design competition for university students interested in persueing a career ing engineering in motorsport and similar endeavours. The team at University of British Columbia Okanagan were looking for something fresh, vibrant, and unique for their competition in Michigan.

Project Goal
Design a livery/wrap for the Formula SAE Team at UBC Okanagan.
Capture the UBC branding as well as modern trends in motorsport livery design.
Prepare files for print, including working with SVG vectors for the printing of vinyl, and continuous use in future projects.
Design Rationale
Extracted existing visual identity elements to create a cohesive design that is “vibrant” and “bold” while still appealing to the UBC name.
Took inspiration from existing motorsporting vehicles to develop a design inspired by classic and iconic liveries.
Used data and aerodynamic research to determine colour placement.
